This is my first post on my new blog. This blog I have created to document one of my greatest diagnostic tools. My bootable flash drive. I had started by simply making a flash drive version of Hirens Boot CD (Information here. Download here. Direct download here.) This was great and it has a number of awesome freeware application on it, at well as a stripped down version of Windows XP called MiniXP which is great for various diagnostics on PC's that are having troubles booting. But since using it, i have discovered that there are still a number of useful applications that are missing from it, so i have since done some of my own modifications on the flash drive and thus added a number of useful applications.
Now I have created this blog to help ease some frustration for people that wish to so the same, as I can tell you it was not exactly easy to apply the modifications. And i would also like to spread the word and encourage every techie (whether professional or hobbyist) out there to have one of these great utilities in their pocket.
So over the next few weeks, months or even years i will be posting first how to make your own one of these flash drives and then assist you by explaining modifications i have done and in extreme detail to help assist you on your mission to fix peoples computers.
